Duration: Permanent, Full time (35.00 to 40.00 Hours / Week)

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job duties: -
Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife. Estimate costs and materials. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Erect and install scaffolding and other working platforms. Do the other job duties as assigned from to time by supervisor

- Tape over joints with tape and compound
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- Sand seams and joints
- Mould and install ornamental fixtures
- Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- Measure, cut and fit and install drywall sheets
- Finish corners and angles
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks
- Create decorative designs in finish coat
- Clean and prepare surfaces
- Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring
- Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
