The Regina Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician. Our clinic provides sterilization surgeries to over 2500 cats and dogs in need every year, and provides medical care for ill and injured animals in the shelter. Our RVTs are responsible for patient care, assist with examinations, administer prescribed treatments and vaccinations, assist with and monitor patient anesthesia, prepare animals for surgery, assist with surgery as required, complete lab work, and assist with shelter animal care.
The position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, annual pay increases, payment of licensing dues, continuing education allowance, uniform, and 10 regular earned days off/year in addition to an accelerated vacation package. Assistance with relocation expenses may be negotiable. Recent graduates from accredited Canadian colleges awaiting VTNE completion are welcome to apply.
