We are actively seeking a permanent, full-time Maintenance Associate to be a part of full service, professional property management company that currently manages multi-family apartment units throughout Regina, Moose Jaw, and Winnipeg. Experience, Education, and Skills Required:

Two years of prior maintenance experience preferred
Must own basic tool kit
Must have valid drivers license and own a vehicle
Physically proficient and able to lift up to 80 pounds of furniture, equipment, and supplies
Proficient in written and verbal English
Able to repair drywall & paint
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
Strong commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions made in finding solutions
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Strong planning and organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to work independently and as a team
Quick learner, able to take initiative, adaptable to change, and flexible nature
Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
Ensure they have all tools required prior to end of probationary period

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure daily communication between work site and office
Respond to basic maintenance requests within 24 hours
Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups as per established quality standards
General common area and building maintenance
Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Preventative maintenance inspections and reporting
Snow removal as required
Available to be placed on a rotating on-call schedule
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager
