Role:

The Packager, Receiver is responsible for all aspects of the packaging and receiving processes, including safety, quality control, material handling, process monitoring and various support activities. He/She is accountable for the verification and maintenance of accurate records on in-coming receivables, reconciles BOLs with actual items/ packages, and verifies that all in-coming goods meet Norseman Structures requirements. The Packager, Receiver will perform general duties including but not limited to receiving, picking and packing orders, processing orders in the system, and other related tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma/GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping & receiving or manufacturing setting.
Physically fit
Able to use Microsoft Office will be considered an asset.
Able to use ERP systems will be considered an asset.
Average communication skills.
Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines.
Able to read and interpret blue-prints considered an asset.
Experienced in operating a forklift inside and outside  preferred but not required
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001: 2008 are considered assets.
