SIGN is looking for a passionate, experienced facilitator, who is primarily responsible for the delivery of Triple P programs to parents of children ages 0-16 as well as parents of children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
Duties for the Facilitator include but are not limited to:
* Assist in and organize administrative components related to service delivery
* Use effective interpersonal skills to communicate complex and sensitive information
* Use the Triple P self-regulatory framework model to mentor other practitioners & parents
* Provide a consistently high standard of support for parents
* Provide presentations and supports in the absence of the Triple P Program Manger
* Participate in leadership team meetings
* Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise program delivery when appropriate
* Assist parents in accessing additional community supports and services when appropriate
* Provide education to clients and families that is consistent with the Triple P mandate, which includes facilitation of the Triple P program.
* Prepare and submit accurate reports and records including input of data into ASRA, provincial recording system
* Assist in the implementation of the Triple P PASS Meetings
* Provide quality assurance by way of: completing training, completing accreditation, additional training as required, etc.
* Ability to work flexible hours - daytime, evenings and weekends
* Prepared to travel throughout the Triple P Yorkton & Fort Qu'Appelle service areas
* Perform other duties and obligations as assigned by the Triple P Program Manager
Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in a field appropriate to the position or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Facilitation experience preferred.
* Have a working knowledge of the Triple P program
* Experience delivering training and teachings in a group setting as well as on an individual basis
* Training in the Triple P program will be provided
* Valid Driver's license is required
