Environmental Services Worker
(Permanent Casual)
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Environmental/Laundry & Food Services at the All Nations Healing Hospital, this position works as part of an interdisciplinary team and will be responsible for providing a clean, sanitary and safe environment for clients/patients/residents, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will work within the Environmental Services department, but may be cross-trained to work with the Laundry and Food Services department.
We are looking for an applicant that is interested in joining a high functioning team and will provide casual relief assignment. The successful candidate would be available for weekend and/or weekday work and may be called at any time during the work day to cover relief shifts.
Applicants must possess:
-Prior experience working in an environmental services department in the healthcare field and hospital setting.
-Knowledge and experience in infection control, isolation techniques and universal precautions
-WHMIS Training would be an asset
-Ability to work independently
