Description

Summary:
Primary responsibilities are to assist the Site Manager in the efficient operation of one or more locations. Duties include maximizing sales & occupancy, controlling delinquencies, required custodial and minor maintenance functions and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers with their storage needs
- Assist reservation & walk-in customers in renting storage units, understanding & completing the lease terms
- Consult, sell and up sell merchandise such as boxes, tape & other appropriate products that meet their needs
- Ensure the appearance of the property is customer ready by cleaning units, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, wiping windows, snow removal, etc. Ultimately ensure property appearance is safe, clean & welcoming
- Work in one or more locations, independently or with others
- Conduct regular physical storage unit inspections and ensuring each unit is secure or ready to rent. Reports maintenance requirements to management
- Act as a liaison between consumers & management for all rental related components including trends, feedback, missed opportunities & potential issues
- Collect funds, post payments & assist in collecting past due accounts
- Conducts welcome, collection & other types of calls. Document notes in the computer system
- Work closely with Manager to receive training & coaching when needed
- Consistently applies company philosophy, policies & procedures
- Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:
- Passion for sales & customer service excellence, demonstrates the ability to "go the extra mile"
- Minimum one year or customer service and/or sales experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, including handling telephone calls efficiently & relaying messages accurately
- Basic understanding of computer systems & exposure to computers desirable.
