Description
The Building Materials Supervisor will be responsible for administering all aspects of the building materials department including but not limited to; budgeting, sales, margins, expenses, inventory control and supervising sales staff.  Providing exceptional customer service will be key in all areas from front line sales to timely and accurate project quotes.   A self-motivated individual is required, this position will require continuous development to remain current with products and trends in the industry.

Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills
-    Provide exceptional customer service
-    Supervisory skills
-    Computer use  create quotes on custom cabinets and 2020 programs
-    Provide accurate lumber quotes
-    Organizational skills
-    Good oral communication
-    Working well with others
-    Ordering and inventory control
Work Conditions
-    Repetitive tasks
-    Fast paced at times
-    Monday to Saturday  flexible shifts
-    Heavy lifting required
-    Subject to outside weather
Additional Skills
-    To maintain an up to date and high level of product knowledge
Specific Skills
-    Operate till system
-    Merchandising, receiving and counting inventory
-    Forklift operation
-    Loss prevention
-    Class 1A or 5A endorsement


Training will be provided.
