Description

Product Marketing exists at the intersection of product, marketing and sales. The primary function of the Product Marketer is to bring solutions to market. Product Marketing is responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and able to generate and close opportunities. The Director of Product Marketing will oversee strategies used across our organization to bring its Platform and Product suites to our customers.

Responsibilities
Create a unifying set of practices and frameworks for product launches, sales enablement, and collaboration with demand generation
Ensure that we have exhaustive competitive research that can be used as tools for Sales, Support, Success and Marketing
Ensure Product Marketing teams are measuring their efforts and roll those results up into easily understood reports for senior executive
Act as a thought leader for Vendasta's solutions, including speaking engagements and written works
Work closely with Product Marketing teams to develop winning plans, iterate over our strategies and ensure the path forward is clear

Qualifications
5+ years of Product Marketing experience; preference given to experience in a market-facing role (delivering presentations, conducting competitor analysis)
Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google Analytics
Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or isn't working
Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large groups, and a solid writer
Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred
Drive to solve customer problems better than anyone else
Ability to adjust to change in an agile manner
