Preference given to Journeyman. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices & procedures in the industry. Work with heavy structural steel on more complex projects. Ensure the assembled product follows the final blueprint & detailed drawings. Competent at reading fabrication drawings. Read weld symbols & provide appropriate weld. Ensure work station is kept clean & tidy. Perform other shop functions as assigned. Possibility working the afternoon shift.
Required: CWB welding tickets; FCAW/MCAW ticket in flat position; Stainless/aluminum an asset.
