Innovative Ag Performance Group (IAP) is a new independent Full line Ag Retail and looking for qualified Sales Agronomist. IAP strives to provide new approaches and support successful strategies for our growers that can benefit them in-crop and in their own business success.
The successful applicant will need to work with and provide local growers leading knowledge and crop production solutions. As IAP is providing a new agronomy program, it gives a great opportunity for an employee to come into a rapidly growing company with new initiatives and fresh ideas. Responsibilities:
Customer relationships:
-Providing solutions and profitability to growers
-Participating in customer functions, shows and meetings
Agronomic services:
-Crop Planning, management and seed selection
-Weed, disease and insect identification/management
-Staging recommendations
-Product knowledge
Marketing:
-Facilitating agronomy events
-Social Media Activity/Marketing Trends
IAP Team Duties:
-Inside sales and growing customer database
-Working with suppliers
-Providing proactive approaches for company growth
-Being able to provide the expertise and knowledge to coach/train agronomy
-Assisting with operations/warehousing (shipping/receiving, chem shed duties)

Qualifications:
-Degree/Diploma in Agriculture (P.Ag.)
-Certified Crop Advisor designation (process of obtaining)
-Ability to work both independently and as a team player
-Experience with customers, sales and in-field experience
-Ability to efficiently communicate, both orally and written
-Willing to work extra hours during peak seasons
-Knowledge on computers and general office programs
-Eligible to work in Canada
-Valid Class 5 or higher driver license
