Job Overview
We are recruiting for a variety of Heavy Equipment Operators for various locations - Estevan, Macoun, Carlyle, Carnduff, Melita, Waskada, Cromer, Virden area.
If you can operate a dozer, excavator, grader, rock truck and Farm equipment we would like to hear from you!
Minimum Requirements
5 years experience in heavy construction
Road building, reclamation, flow line experience
Excellent physical condition
Good vision and awareness of depth
Excellent eye, hand and foot co-ordination and fast reflexes
Mechanical ability
Able to work well in a team or on their own
Good English communication skills
Abilities Required
Operate heavy equipment safely
Perform preventive maintenance tasks
Diagnose mechanical problems
Read grade plans and use grade stakes in measuring the amount of earth to be moved
Follow directions that are spoken or given by hand signals.
Heavy equipment operators work outdoors in almost any kind of weather, although they may work in air conditioned and dust controlled cabs
Must be very safety conscious and must follow the signals of ground crew members
Able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
