WEST FOUR Group of Companies is a Western Canadian leader in supplying doors, hardware, and building specialties with branches in Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg.
Madero, a division of WEST FOUR Group of Companies, Inc. in Saskatoon is seeking a full-time Long Haul Delivery Driver to start immediately.
This position will be responsible for scheduled weekly customer deliveries across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Delivery runs will include overnight stays as well as day runs.
Madero delivers only its own product and there will be no waiting for reloads at drop sites. Well-maintained, company-owned semi-tractor and a 53 dry van will be provided.
Position and Responsibilities:
o Loading and unloading of goods
o Communication and interaction with customers
o Plan travel schedules and assist in the planning of routes
o Maintain driver logbook
o Understand and use bill of lading
o Conduct inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
o Accident or incident reports
Requirements:
o Drivers Abstract
o Valid 1A drivers license
o Steel toed safety boots
o Strong inter-personal skills
o Physically able to transfer product from within the trailer to the rear of the trailer
Compensation:
o Paid hourly (to be negotiated)
o Full benefits after eligibility period
