If you do, then you will love being a driver trainer/ sales person ! What does a Driver Trainer /Sales do? The driver trainer has the important responsibility of teaching material handling workers how to safely operate a variety of lift trucks and ensure licensed operators are working at a maximum level of safety. This means that you work with our clients in a teaching capacity to deliver the necessary theoretical knowledge in class as well as the hands-on portion on the lift truck. Our client offers a hands-on, in-depth and renowned forklift driver training program which involves theory and practical orientation and testing. In this role, you will also need to be a competitive, outgoing, and a persuasive seller who thrives on winning and devising innovative ideas and plans to sell mandatory training to new and existing clients.
Job Description
Driver Training Instructor
Organize the necessary training materials for the program.
Call ahead to verify the session details and availability of equipment.
Deliver Safety on the Move and other safety related training programs (classroom theory and hands on practical)
Ensure participants achieve learning objectives
Provide class score sheet to coordinator for tracking and preparation of certificates and wallet cards
