Randstad's Saskatoon branch is on the hunt for a stellar and experienced SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for an immediate start in a 2-3 month contract.
If you are an accountant with 5-10 years of experience, and love a fast paced, challenging environment, this is the position for you! This is a Senior Account position, reporting directly to the Director of Finance!
The ideal candidate will be focused and dedicated, as well as professional and have the ability to hit the ground running in their role. This company has been growing quickly across Western Canada, with multiple branches throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, with a presence in the East as well.
In this role your duties will include:
Complete month and year end procedures
Daily and monthly accounting tasks including preparing financial statements, processing journal entries, and analysis
Preparation of annual budgets
Oversee issuing of checks and invoice payments
Maintain books and accounts for the company
Liaise with management staff on cost management measures
Maintain filing system
Other job duties as required

Your qualifications are:
2 supervisory references, who can comment on your time management, skills, and knowledge
Minimum bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
Intermediate to expert level knowledge and practical experience with SAP
CPA, CA, CMA designation is an asset
5+ years experience in a similar role
Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
