Description

The Collector I is responsible for contacting SaskEnergy customers to resolve outstanding accounts.  In this role you will provide guidance and create a payment plan to ensure the funds are recuperated.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Introductory Financial Accounting from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Qualified candidates will possess:
Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
Computer knowledge and experience
Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
Strong negotiation and problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Strong communication, listening, and relationship building skills
Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
Passion for delivering superior customer service
Enjoys multi-tasking in an ever changing environment and works well under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Accounts Receivable and previous call centre knowledge/experience a plus
