LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Evenings

Chateau St Michael's, a Personal Care Home located in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. At our residence, the LPN helps to fulfil the care requirements of our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Care, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living/Long Term Care experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Provide supervision of and assistance with bedside care.
Supervise and support the CCA's administering medications and document therapeutic effects.
Take vitals signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration).
Collaborate with staff, clients and families to develop an ongoing care plan for each client.
Assist with resident comfort/pain management.
Prepare and administer injections.
Collect samples, change and monitor catheters.
Provide wound care.
Help coach staff as necessary.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are looking for a responsible experienced LPN with leadership, motivational skills and a compassionate/friendly demeanour.
Up to date first aid and CPR certification
Current LPN License in Saskatchewan.
Willingness to work days, evenings, some weekends and holidays.
