Facility: Saskatoon City Hospital
Job Description: The Staff Physical Therapist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team of Kinetik Rehabilitation Services. The Staff Physical Therapist will be responsible for musculoskeletal and functional evaluation, physical reconditioning, work simulation, and education. Kinetik Rehabilitation Service is an accredited tertiary functional rehabilitation treatment center.  In order to meet patient and organizational demand this position provides pelvic floor therapy services.
Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Level 1: The Physical Therapy approach to female and male urinary incontinence. Level 2: Female and Male pelvic pain. Or comparable courses/accreditation in pelvic floor assessment and treatment
Registered or eligible for accreditation with WCB Saskatchewan
Experience
18 months of experience required for WCB accreditation. Experience in the interdisciplinary management of injured workers with complex medical and psychosocial issues would be an asset.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment, treatment, teaching and report writing
Requires coping skills to work with residents/patients dealing with stress, role loss and other psychosocial issues
Requires initiative and judgment to plan implement and modify treatment programs according to client and program needs
Must be able to plan, organize and coordinate efforts with allied health members as well as communicate effectively and adapt to changing conditions
