Description

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Assistant Gas Bar Manager demonstrates and leads with day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Moose Jaw Co-ops values, mission and vision.  This multi-task position requires strong technical knowledge and experience in gas bar operations and marketing, high standards in merchandising and customer service, and the ability to organize and lead a team toward common goals.  
Responsibilities:
    Responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the Gas Bar
    Provide exceptional customer service to our external and internal customers
    Supervision of a large team of employees while leading and inspiring them to achieve location goals, as well as, supporting and maintaining our brand
    Requires knowledge and experience of sales, gross margin and inventory management.
    Assist with the administrative procedures, ordering/receiving of product and merchandising
    Lead a culture of safety through adherence to company standards for Health & Safety, Loss Prevention and Environmental Due Diligence.
The successful candidate must demonstrate effective team leadership skills and have the ability to work well within a multi-generational, highly motivated team.  We are looking for an individual with strong communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as, excellent organizational skills.  Starting in a junior management position, we will provide you with ongoing training that could enable you to advance into a senior leadership role.  We will require an individual with a retail background.  Related experience in the Co-operative Retailing System would be considered an asset.
