Description:
To provide barrier free opportunities to children, youth, and adults living in Regina to learn local indigenous languages through afterschool/evening classes and day camps.


Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Must be fluent speaker in at least 1 local indigenous language and able to provide instruction to a variety of audiences

Recruit and coordinate additional language instructors

Adhere to organizational policies and procedures

Maintain and report on program stats and outcomes

Must assist staff in basic duties of the NYFC drop-in centre

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Experience in language-based teaching, facilitation, instruction

Experience with curriculum development is an asset

Experience working with urban indigenous people

Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle and must submit a current criminal record check.
