Description

Requiring a Live In Caregiver / Home support Worker for an elderly woman residing in her own home.  Woman in good physical condition, excellent mobility, has Alzheimer's disease.

Responsibilities:
-Perform help with persons daily routine, personal care, hair care, and dressing.
-Aid client with bathing
-Prepare nutritious and tasteful meals
-Administer daily medication
-Companionship
-Launder clothing and household linens
-Housekeeping and cleaning duties
-Accompany person to social programs and outings.

Qualifications:
-Related work experience required.
-Criminal record check required.
-First aid, CPR, and care aid courses would be an asset.
-Must be able to speak read, and understand English.
-Dementia experience an asset.

Successful candidate will be patient, kind, compassionate, and caring in demeanor.  Honesty, punctuality, and reliability is also expected.
