With offices in both Saskatoon and Regina, McKercher LLP is one of Saskatchewans oldest and largest law firms.  McKerchers regional experience is a tremendous asset to the firms clients, many of whom are leaders in the industries that drive the provinces diverse, growing economy. The firms client-first philosophy has made McKercher one of Saskatchewans top ranked law firms. A busy and growing practice requires a new role, Chief Operating (COO), to lead the operational and growth objectives of the organization.

As the Chief Operating Officer, you report directly to the Executive Committee and are responsible for providing leadership and oversight to operations and administration. You sit on the Executive Committee and play a key role collaborating with the Partner Group to develop and implement the strategic plan and vision. As an experienced and diversified business professional, you use your expertise to ensure McKercher LLP applies the best operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems.

Drawing upon your leadership experience and collaborative approach, you build a unified team of direct reports and lead employees to buy-in to the firms vision, strategic plan, client-first philosophy, and collegial environment.  With superior communication and change management and problem-solving skills, you build relationships both internally and externally to support the firms goals. You combine holding others accountable for deliverables with empowerment, development, and coaching.

With 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including knowledge and experience working with professional services organizations, you bring bench strength in human resources, technology, facilities, finance and business development.  A post-secondary degree plus your experience makes you an ideal candidate.
