The M:eating room is a local & healthy quick serve restaurant that serves slow roasted meats on a vertical rotisserie, vegetarian/vegan options, pita's, salad's, rice bowls, pizza's, smoothies, ice-cream & more!
Casual and fun work environment, both part-time and full-time positions involve grill work, sandwich bar work, smoothie counter, food preparation, preparing food in front of customers and more. The positions are well rounded and allow you to learn new skills and develop comprehensive kitchen experience. You will work as a team with other staff, be indulged in a positive/happy work environment and have room to grow professionally.
Full-Time position will entail preparing recipes & stock menu items for the week,preparing major food items daily, using kitchen experience to monitor and overlook all food preparation/cooking methods throughout the day. Assisting with customers is also included in this position.
Part-Time position will serve more as a front counter attendant and kitchen help. Primary purpose is to assist with customers, food prep, and other daily tasks/shift activities.
An ideal candidate will work well with others, has great communication skills with customers and team, work well under pressure (for example, during lunch/supper rushes), has grill/cooking experience, and is friendly with customers (a very big part of our business is exceptional service!)
We offer competitive wages based on experience. Experience & performance may allow for room to grow into supervisory & managerial levels within the company. Wages start at a training level and can increase based on performance & surpassing the probationary period.
Great hours available Monday-Saturday (open until 8pm, no late shifts, Sunday's closed). flexible shifts available!
