Description

Yara Belle Plaine has a position for a Permanent Loadout Operator.

This position is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of load-out equipment to load Ammonia, UAN/DEF, and Urea.

- Loading Urea (Ag grade and Feed Grade) into rail and truck bulk carriers.
- Inspection, hook up, loading, disconnecting, final inspection of NH3 tank trucks.
- Inspection, taring, hook up, loading, disconnecting, weighing out and final inspection of NH3 tank cars.
- Inspection, loading and final inspection of UAN rail cars.
- Inspection, loading and final inspection of DEF rail cars.
- Monitor/oversee UAN/DEF self load operation.
- Operate urea loading control system and dedusting control system.
- Inspection, loading sealing/final inspection and recording hopper car shipments.
- Switching rail cars with a Yard Engine and/or a trackmobile
- Front-end loader operation.
- Zoom Boom and bobcat operation.
- Troubleshooting load-out equipment to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Preparing Urea, Ammonia and UAN DEF systems for maintenance.

Profile
- Strong knowledge of safety programs and emergency response procedures within Yara.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of load-out procedures for operating load-out equipment; troubleshooting equipment, and preparing equipment for maintenance, including Ammonia, UAN and DEF pumps and systems.
- Ability to operate Front-end loader, Forklift, Locomotive, Trackmobile, Zoom Boom and Bobcat.
- TDG, WHMIS Certificates.
