Educational Assistant (Part Time  9 hours/week)
CAMPS - Competition #2225


CAMP (Chinook Alternate Middle Plus) School seeks an enthusiastic positive thinking individual to join their educational team. Primary focus of this position is to prepare the hot lunch for the day and support students by providing ongoing encouragement towards the development of independent learning.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:
    Experience and training in food preparation
    Safe Food Handling Certificate
    A desire to work with young people and an understanding of the challenges youth face
    Appreciation and respect for diversity
    Team-player able to self-evaluate for personal growth
    Enthusiasm for the learning process
    A responsible, self-regulating individual who believes in quality work
    Ability to work as a team or independently
    Knowledge of Choice Theory and/or Restitution is an asset
