Sun West School Division invites applications for an Educational Assistant in Kyle Colony School, located approximately 23 kilometers from Kyle and 21 kilometers from Elrose. This is a temporary position, 5.75 hours per day, every student day, starting the 2018/19 school year and ending December 21, 2018, with the possibility of extension.

This position works as a collaborative member of a team providing assistance to teachers in the delivery and implementation of educational programs and services that facilitate the integration, growth, learning, safety and comfort of students. The individual will assist in the classroom by providing EAL support to Kindergarten students, as well as providing pull-out support for individual or small group assistance.

Salary and benefits for this position will be in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.

Wage Range: $17.50 to $19.30 per hour
