We are currently recruiting for a Recreation & Community Development Instructor who will work as part of a team dedicated to the success of students. Courses include, but are not limited to: Financial Accounting Managerial Accounting Computer Applications, Communications, Business & Technical Writing, Leadership & Group Dynamics, Marketing, Psychology, Research Literacy, Recreation & Community Development, Environmental Sustainability, Committees, Boards and Volunteer Management, Inclusive Leisure, Program Planning, Microeconomics, Diversity & Cultural Foundations, Sociology.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Classroom management;
Taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis;
Monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and
Perform other related duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this positions are a four year degree in Recreation, Community Development or Tourism, and two years of recent and relevant work experience working in the recreation/community development/tourism fields. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
This program is accredited through Sask Polytechnic, instructors must meet the requirements of the accrediting institution.
