Job Description
This is a full time year round (2 months off in winter plus 2 additional months as requested) Normally each 5 day period (4 on 1 off.)
Hourly wage $50 80 to start (dependent on experience)
Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, flexible shifts during peak seasons. 8 hour days.
Duties
Must have experience assessing patients with muscle testing to determine patients current and future functioning level. This allows for a determination of proper P-DTR treatment to be preformed. All treatments are done in the clinic as per the address listed.
Employment requirements
A bachelor's degree in therapy with a specialization in therapeutic recreation is an asset but not required.
Practical experience in advanced P-DTR treatments is required
Registered Therapist is a requirement for the position
Anatomy in Motion or Cellular Release certificates are an asset
Must speak English
Experience
Experience with manual therapy/massage, movement, awareness and breath regarding P-DTR
Advanced experience with P-DTR treatments
Assess and provide recommendations to clients regarding P-DTR treatments to heal aliments
Experience with documenting treatments and progress reports for complete treatment requirements
Provide education to patients to provide preventative maintenance and preparation for treatments
Implement treatment plans to complete full P-DTR treatment for healing
Experience with teaching and training local therapists to transfer skills
Design therapy program to rehabilitate or enhance movement using P-DTR treatments
