Saskatoon Student Child Care Services Inc. seeks inclusion support educators to be part of a team that strives to offer quality care in an exciting and supportive work environment at Royal West Early Learning Centre.
Our centre provides opportunity for teen and community parents and families in their pursuit to become independent, contributing members of society and nurturing parents. We serve families with children ages 2 weeks through to 5 years.
Our philosophy embraces the belief that children develop best by exploring the world around them at their own pace. The inclusion support educator will ensure that our mission and program philosophy are incorporated into all aspects of working with children and families.
Minimum requirements:
ECE Level 2 or 3 (certificate, diploma, or equivalent) preferred
Current First Aid/CPR
Clear and Current Criminal Records check and Vulnerable Sector check
Responsibilities include but are not limited to appropriately representing Royal West Early Learning Centre as follows: the inclusion support educator will ensure that a safe, developmentally appropriate, responsive program is implemented in accordance with all relevant rules, legislation, policies and procedures of the Centre and within Saskatchewan. In addition, they will implement programs to support development in using information received from children's referring professionals.
Our Centre provides a supportive, stable environment that allows Early Childhood Educators to explore new ideas and visions for early childhood education.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is accepting of children with diverse abilities, who can overcome biases in order to implement change, who can help support children to participate in all activities, and who has experience with observation and documentation.
Minimum Starting Wage $13.75/hr to $18.25/hr. depending on qualifications and experience.

- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
- Assess the developmental level of children
