The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA) protects consumer interests and supports economic well-being through responsive financial marketplace regulation. The FCAAs Consumer Credit Division is currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our team.  

Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for regulating a portfolio of mortgage brokerages, trust and loan companies, payday lenders and/or oversee credit unions regulation.  You will be responsible for developing and carrying out regulatory activities, including determining risk profiles of assigned institutions and performing risk-based audits assessing the effectiveness of risk management and governance processes, and their compliance with legislation and other regulatory requirements.  You will communicate concerns and deficiencies, monitor to ensure these items are resolved, and manage enforcement actions if concerns are not appropriately addressed.  You will also be involved in developing and implementing new legislation and regulatory policy.

Typically the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained through a professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA, etc.) with a university degree in business administration or commerce or equivalent along with several years of progressive audit, treasury, financial analysis and related experience.
