Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with the Regina Airport Authority to provide them with an Executive Assistant / Corporate Secretary.

The Role:

To facilitate the process of administrative justice, particularly for operations of the Board of Directors and their respective committees
Anticipate requirements, identify, prioritize and prepare information for the President and CEO
Manage and prepare travel schedules, book travel arrangements, and make reservations for the President and CEO including the logistical coordination of meetings, dinners, workshops and events
Maintain records, minutes and documentation of the senior and management teams as required
Research, organize and assemble information and material to prepare correspondence, presentations, reports and draft letters of a confidential and sensitive nature for the President and CEO
Act as the official record keeper for Board of Directors and their related committees.  Attend all meetings of the Board and its committees and act as the confidential recording secretary and ensure proper records of all meetings are maintained
Coordination and scheduling of meetings including coordination of agendas, meeting packages, facilities and catering
programs for Board members
Preparation of the annual Board budget for submission

The Ideal Candidate:

Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or relevant discipline
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role supported by the knowledge and understanding of governance, office administration and business principles
Executive level administrative and project management expertise
Demonstrated ability to support senior level executives and to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information
Ability to secure a clear National Criminal Record through the internal pre-employment background screening process
Ability to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance within six months of hire
