Verdient Foods Inc. at Vanscoy Saskatchewan operates a brand new, state-of-the-art facility dedicated exclusively to the processing of pulse crops. We have immediate openings at various levels in its production department (Milling/Pelleting/Fractionation)

If you have relevant experience on the grain industry or food industry, ideally with hands-on understanding of receiving, cleaning or processing grains and/or foods products, we encourage you to send your resume.

Desirable skills:

   Safety minded
   Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
   Relevant manufacturing experience
   Intermediate computer skills
   Mechanically minded
   Willingness to learn and naturally
    inquisitive
   Understanding of basic large-scale
    equipment operation including automated
    processing systems
   Forklift operation experience
   Strong organizational skills
   Ability to identify problems and
    proactively inform supervisors of same
   Ability to communicate, both verbally and
    in writing
   Maintain and build upon a focused,
    conscientious team atmosphere
   Ability to work shift and overtime,
    including week ends
   Exposure to and understanding of HACCP protocols, GMP and SOPs are desirable skills
