Description

SkyFire Energy is looking for a well-rounded individual to become part of our solar electric team in Regina, SK. This individual will be self-motivated, energetic, personable, and excited to work as part of a fast growing company in the solar industry. SkyFire Energy is a Certified B Corporation and employee owned company with offices and staff in 5 locations across Western Canada. This will be a permanent full-time hourly position starting at the end of July. Most work will be based in and around Regina but out of town work is expected and
common. Training on projects both locally in Regina and in Calgary or Edmonton will be provided. The ideal candidate will be provided an opportunity to move into project and/or construction management if desired.

Primary duties include:
- Ensure crew and job site safety
- Lead quality installations based on system design and specifications
- Installation of solar electric systems for residential and commercial buildings and ground mounts
- Commissioning of PV systems and completion of quality control and commissioning documentation
- Manage installation crews including

Requirements:
- Certified Journeyman Electrician
- Must be able to lift solar modules, batteries or other heavy items
- Comfortably able to lift 60lbs, climb ladders and work on roof tops in varying conditions
- Must be willing to work out of town on some projects for durations of 2 days to 2+ weeks
- Class 5 drivers license; a clean driving record is required.

Assets (but not required):
- Solar training and/or solar installation certification (SAIT, NAIT, - NABCEP, SEI, etc)
- Solar installation experience
- Fall protection training/certification
