Description

In this position, EDR is looking for candidates that are passionate about economic development, community building, and collaboration.  As Manager, Sector Development you will:

Advance EDRs sector strategy through stakeholder engagement, research, and advancing targeted projects to grow Reginas strategic sectors.
Lead major projects structured to address challenges and opportunities in the GRAs key industry sectors (ex: Agri-Value, Manufacturing, IT).
Identify, create and nurture collaborate working relationships with key stakeholders.  These relationships will provide a strong foundation to broker and advance transformative projects in Reginas key industry sectors.
Engage in targeted investment attraction in the agri-value sector. You will identify gaps in the agri-value supply chain. You will leverage and harness the momentum of Protein Industries Canada (PIC) and align provincial incentives & programs along with the value proposition of our regional agri-value sector with targeted companies.
