Description

The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. RODS is committed to meeting the needs of newcomers by offering programs and services that enable them to achieve their goals and participate fully in the larger community.

The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff full-time position of Accounting Clerk.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and bookkeeping services in order to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Central Administration & Finance Department. This position works closely with the Accounting & Payroll Clerk, Inter-office Administrative Coordinator and other front desk support.

This individual must possess knowledge of the Sage accounting program, common payroll practices, analyzing information, general math and data entry skills. They will have excellent communication skills in both written and verbal, thoroughness with attention to detail, problem solving skills, willingness to learn new applications and processes and the ability to prioritize projects. Works well in a team setting and autonomously with little supervision and willingness to co-operate with others and work to the greater good of the organization and clients.
