Description

Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the CPIC Supervisor, processes a variety of traffic documents.  
(1)    Conducts online verification of ASE violations occurring at Regina locations; enters and master files Summary Offence Tickets, tasks officers regarding basic accuracy requirements and insures court deadlines are met.
(2)    Monitors the court docket for unpaid tickets and submits officers notes for court dates
(3)    Matches registered owner information to license plates on out of province violations
(4)        Corrects, processes and enters motor vehicle accident. SGI impound and RPS seized vehicle reports on IEIS.
(4)    Enters and tracks Inspection Tickets in accordance with established procedures.
(5)    Answers inquiries for information by telephone from uniform members, municipal and traffic safety court.
(6)    Other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Competencies:
(1)    Knowledge of Traffic Safety Act, Municipal Traffic Bylaws, Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act and Criminal Code Sections relating to traffic violations are an asset.
(2)    Ability to learn the IEIS and ASE system to the extent to search, enter, link and task on the system.
(3)    Minimum typing speed 50 wpm with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
(4)    Reception:  The ability to deal with incoming calls and persons in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
(5)    Filing:  The ability to retain and retrieve documents in an easy, efficient manner.
(6)    Organization:  The ability to coordinate work schedules and time for maximum efficiency and productivity.
(7)    Minimum of Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent.
