Description

Horizon is currently recruiting for multiple Business Analysts of varying skill level for administration systems and business process modernization/transformation projects. Business Analysts are responsible for applying the existing business analysis methodologies and processes to ensure successful contributions of end products as required by the project. Additionally, Senior Business Analysts are encouraged to participate as team members in establishing business analysis methodologies, practices and procedures. Candidates will be required to have business and systems analysis practice/people leadership experience.

Demonstrated experience in delivery of requirements across multiple methodologies including RUP (Rational Unified Process), DAD (Disciplined Agile Delivery) and traditional project management methodologies will be given a preference.

Skills and duties that may be required:
Document Business Process Models (As-Is and To-Be)
Document Use Cases based on Business Process Models
Effectively analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures, and business requirements
Elicit, document, manage and communicate functional and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Define and scope, the business problem or opportunity and identify solutions
Identify any risks, issues and assumptions with the solution and contribute to an effective control and risk management process
Lead Subject Matter Experts through the process of User Acceptance Testing
Act as a liaison between all parties
Research, develop, and recommend the implementation of new approaches and technological solutions for data and integration services
Create and document business cases, technical assessments, project charters, user manuals, system manuals, policies, processes and procedures
