The Pipeline Welder performs welding assignments on elevated pressurized systems for the installation, fabrication, modification and repair of gas production, transmission and distribution systems and facilities in accordance with standards, specifications and accepted industry practices.

Qualifications -
Education:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification (Welder Certificate)
Valid Saskatchewan Municipal Government Pressure Welders Certificate designated P1-F3-F4 on NPS-2 (Schedule 160) pipe
Valid Oxy-acetylene Welder Certificate designated P1-F6 on NPS-1 1/4 pipe
Valid Class 1A driver's license with a current driver's abstract
Note:
The successful applicant is required to provide their most recent medical report (Department of Transportation Physical Examination) upon successful hire.
Experience:
Four (4) years natural gas construction experience working on pressurized natural gas pipelines.
Additional Information -
Depending on location, standby is routinely scheduled or occasional.
This job is subject to call-out situations.
Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required.
This job requires significant travel time.
This job requires extended work hours.
