HDCS is looking for someone to become a Peer Mentor to provide support to an individual with a cognitive disability. Peer mentor would work with the individual to teach life, social and
communication skills.
Applicant must be a patient, reliable, energetic and compassionate individual. Experience with disabilities or in the human service field an asset. First aid/CPR an asset.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required. Must provide criminal record check with vulnerable sector completed.
Approximately 6 hours per week. Must be willing to work flexible schedule.
