Reports to: Sales Manager
Job Duties:
*Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
*Identify new customers and revenue opportunities for the store
*Deliver superior customer service and help maintain a strong team environment
*Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
*Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and staying current on all product lines
*Keep management informed by submitting activity and result reports (ex. call sheets)
*Strive for continuous improvement in processes and procedures
*Protect and maintain the security of store assets
Skills and Abilities:
*Advanced Relationship Building and Interpersonal Skills
*Expertise in Cold Calling and Closing large dollar transactions
*Must have superior communication & customer service skills
*Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
Qualifications and Experience:
*Agriculture background
*Experience in a Sales Role or growing business in a new area
*High School Diploma or equivalent required
*Previous experience in a dealership or retail establishment an asset
*Degree in Business or Agriculture an asset
