Seeking an experienced ophthalmic technician to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: capable of pretesting patients including the use of medical imaging equipment, computer data entry, scanning and filing of medical charts, scheduling appointments, responding to telephone inquires, and handling incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
Position requires a mature, professional and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Applicant must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in an ophthalmologist or optometrist office and knowledge of Accuro EMR system is preferred. Computer knowledge is a must. Wage is dependent on experience.
