At S3, the Accounting Supervisor performs financial transactions and creates accurate reports for the purpose of decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the preparation of the annual budget and projection
Monitor cash flow and administer all foreign exchange transactions
Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure that all expenditures are correctly authorized
Responsible for all employee records, biweekly payroll and benefits records
Review the accuracy of all documents by conducting internal audits
Prepare inventory sales by product report, monthly financial statements, weekly orders written report, and warranty rework costs report
Prepare and analyze month-end and year-end financial statements, ratios, inventory, income tax, and information returns
Attend and participate in S3 Wireform Team meetings
Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager
Ensure all tasks are performed with the highest regard for safety, as outlined in our Safety Manual
Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years experience in an office environment
Experience in preparing monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and financial auditing
Competent with Microsoft software, especially Excel and Word
Competent with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks.
Ability to organize and manage a wide range of priorities
Positive and co-operative team player
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively and to inspire confidence from supervisors, peers and subordinates
