Thyssen Mining is looking for an energetic and detail oriented individual to join our Technical Services Department in the position of Intermediate Civil Engineer. The chosen individual will report to the Technical Services Manager and be based out of our Head Office in Regina, SK. In this role, the Intermediate Civil Engineer will work alongside our team of professionals and be responsible for developing and analyzing functional steel and concrete designs, updating existing designs, and implementing and/or developing applicable processes or procedures to support projects worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess:

-University Degree in Engineering
-Ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan
-Experience in mining or industrial environments
-Ability to create or develop engineered designs and drawings
-Experience in AutoCAD and Solidworks platforms
-Knowledge of other software systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, and SharePoint
-Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
-Methodical and detail oriented approach to work practices
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Passion and aptitude to train and share your experiences with others in related processes, procedures, and software
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively in a team environment
-Ability to support and promote Corporate Health & Safety practices
