We are currently seeking a General Store Manager for The Eagles Lake Community Store. The right individual will be enthusiastic, with strong leadership qualities & excellent communication skills, that will help our company achieve success. Working as part of a team, the Store Manager is accountable for the completion of all duties necessary to operate entire store.
Responsibilities:
Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orientation & training employees
Order fuel & gas bar products within legal requirements
Order grocery store merchandise, tobacco products, seasonal items
Keep constant product inventory in all departments
Responsible to maintain quality staff, through proper scheduling & communication
Regulate policies & procedures for staff & customers
Prepare budgets & monitor revenue & expenses
Develop marketing & promotional strategies
Ensure friendly customer service
Resolve customer complaints
Adhere to quality store standards of cleanliness & safety precautions for our staff & customers
Follow all company procedures & standards
Requirements:
Problem Solving & proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel spreadsheets
Excellent communication skills with staff & ability to meet needs of customers
Ability to influence at all levels, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work independently & under pressure
Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals & organize work appropriately to meet & exceed goals
Possess strong organizational & time management skills
Demonstrates strong listening, written & oral communication skills
Conflict management & resolution skills
Qualifications
Strong verbal & written communications skills
Must be an excellent organizer & problem solver with strong project management skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to internal & external customers
1-3 years retail management experience
Business Degree or Certificate from accredited school of business
