Description

Chip and Dale Homes Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization providing residential and day program services for adults with intellectual disabilities.

A LPN position is available caring for an adult with complex medical needs in a home setting.

Duties Include:
provide medical care within the full scope of practice as it is outlined for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Offer direct nursing care for medically fragile adult
Offer direct nursing care for complex medical, nursing and intervention therapies due to disabilities and/chronic diseases
Provide a holistic approach of health and healing along with nursing care for medically fragile adult
Assist in physical assessments
Administer medications, gastric tube feeds
Monitor and administer tracheotomy care including suctioning
Monitor and manage nursing care plans
Advocate on behalf of the individual's health care needs

Qualifications:
LPN
Current license with SALPN
Minimum 2 years experience preferred
