Explore this exciting opportunity as Director of Human Resources with a reputable, growing organization in the construction/engineering industry, located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

You will develop HR strategies and provide sound advice to the executive team, ensuring company HR needs are met and are aligned with business objectives.

In this leadership role, you will be accountable for all areas of Human Resources, and in developing an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

- Participate in and influence strategic decision-making with the executive team, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies, services, policies and programs for the organization.
  
- Implement HR strategies, programs and practices to maximize the use of human resources, create innovation and lead initiatives in:  workplace culture, leadership training, policies and procedures, recruitment, employee engagement and performance management, compensation and benefits and succession planning.

- Lead and maintain the employee leadership development program; provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the management team.    

- Review and update/refine current policies and procedures; assess gaps and/or new areas requiring policy development.

- Recommend and implement HR initiatives in line with organizational objectives, working collaboratively with the executive and management teams.

- Degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field, and a CPHR professional certificate is a definite asset.  
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions, with a mix of HR strategy and HR generalist responsibilities.  (The position is approx. 30-40% strategic and 60-70% hands on).
