Description

Black & McDonald is currently looking for the ideal candidate to enroll in our comprehensive business development training program complete with ongoing mentoring and support. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to advance rapidly within the organization and to benefit financially. The BD Representative will be assigned a geographical or vertical market and will be responsible for prospecting potential new clients in the assigned market, uncovering needs, providing solutions and entering into service agreements with clients. Duties will also include managing existing accounts comprised of client meetings to discuss financial and technical data to assist with facility decision making. Providing technical quotations for mechanical and HVAC related service work is also a requirement.

-Past sales experience would be considered an asset
-A diploma or degree in business, engineering or marketing
-Technical knowledge including HVAC, mechanical or facilities would be considered an asset
-1-3 years experience in sales and preparing proposals or contracts
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent customer service skills
-Computer skills, including MS Office
-Competency in web based sales tracking software such as SalesForce
