Viterra is seeking a Manager, Customer Service for our Kamsack grain facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating a high volume grain handling facility, and conducting business on-farm within the Kamsack market area.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the movement of grain with customers and market area staff.
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with current and potential customers.
Supervise, train, and conduct performance and development reviews with facility staff.
Ensure continuous improvement in the areas of employee health & safety and operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Personable and willing to work with diverse and challenging customers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Proven experience in customer service or sales capacity.
Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry.
Education and Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in agriculture or other sales related customer service functions.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
