Job Description: NATURE AND SCOPE:

1. Promotes the Mission, Values, Goals and policies of    Saskatchewan Health Authority to the staff and community as being the foundation of the health services provided to and with the community and its residents.
2. Works with directors, supervisors, village council, and interagency group (ROC) to identify the health needs of the residents, families and community of Pinehouse and works with all stakeholders to achieve improvements in the health status of the population in those identified areas.
3. Provides leadership to the health team to prioritize their activities that will achieve the goals of improved health status.
4. Develops strong working relationships with other agencies and professionals in the community and region to achieve a healthier community.
5. Assists in the recruitment of staff best suited to provide a quality heath service to the residents of the community.
6. Provides management, leadership and direction to the employees to achieve an integrated and coordinated health service, which meets the values and goals of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
7. Assists in the collection of relevant data in order to provide an information base, which will give direction to the delivery of health services.
8. Works with the program directors and supervisors to ensure services delivered by staff are of the highest quality.
9. Provides direct supervison and program direction to the Community Health Educator, Home Care Aids and Clerical Staff.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. The incumbent will have strong personal organizational skills with appropriate computer skills.
