Job duties:
Organization of warehouse, including product mapping, inventory tracking, & area labelling.
Product receiving, including visual inspection of product and delivery vehicle, collecting samples for pathogen testing, and identifying/labelling incoming bags.
Blend seed to create seed mixes
Prepare Food Safety documentation.
Follow Food Safety procedures.
Prepare manufacturing reports
Packing and shipping truck orders through communication with Sales Co-ordinator.
Ensuring that correct product is shipped with adequate physical protection.
Manufacture of bulk quantities of seed from tote bags.
Manufacture of 5 kg & 10 kg bags. Consult Inventory Coordinator as required for quantity & when to manufacture.
Warehouse equipment and machinery maintenance
Maintain warehouse interior and monitor warehouse interior and exterior for required repairs.
Develop and ensure compliance with OHS standards.
Month-end sanitation of warehouse
Pest control program, monitoring according to Food Safety program.
